Visa

Hey everyone! So, the next big step I'm taking is getting my Chinese visa. You can't send it in the mail like getting your passport, you have to either show up in person or have a friend or travel agent get it to the Chinese embassy governed by your state. For me, the Chinese embassy I have to go to is in Houston, Texas. I'm going to Houston with my boyfriend and another friend for a few days until I get it. It usually takes 4 business days but you can pay extra to get it faster. I might pay to get it in 2-3 business days. The visa itself right now costs $140. I've filed out my visa application and I have my passport already, I just need an up to date photo of me. That's it for now, I'll post some links to the blog next time I'm on my computer! I'm using iPad right now. Erica

    Will you be driving or flying to Houston? That would be a fun road trip! :)

    We are going to drive to Houston!
    Its gonna take 11 hours.

      Woah! Be sure to take shifts and pass out in a rest area for a few if you even feel a little sleepy.
